On 9th - 13th of May 2017 in Kiev during Eurovision 2017 is on duty Police Helicopter Robinson R44 with special video equipment connected to Situation Centers of National Police of Ukraine.

Modern video technologies and software allows to identify any person in the crowd by face. This practice is quite progressive for the police of Ukraine.

The video equipment of Police Helicopter Robinson R44 is OTUS-U250 with Gyro Stabilised Gimbal and OTUS Handcontrol Unit - DST Control that lets control the gimbal and rotate it 360 degrees. The stabilization technology of the gimbal enables crisp and detailed videos.

Gyro Stabilised Gimbal is equipped with Blackmagic Design professional video camera, uncooled and cooled infrared imager, laser pointer, laser range finder and laser illuminator.

Ribonson R44 Police Helicopter is special configuration four seats light helicopter with Lycoming IO-540 engine. The flight characteristics of the helicopter - cruise speed of 175 km/hour and maximum range of 485 km.

In Kiev during Eurovision 2017 Police Helicopter Robinson R44 will perform air patrol only if necessary and on the order of situation centers of the police.

For the time of Eurovision Kiev airspace is closed for light aviation - aircrafts, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles from 06.05 to 14.05.2017 according to instructions of General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
