On 24th of November 2017 in Chernivtsi was restored and going to operate Tourist Trolleybus - trolleybus of legendary model Škoda 9Tr № 208.

Tourist Trolleybus it is planned to use only for tours and excursions in Chernivtsi for Ukrainian and international tourists.

Updated Škoda 9Tr trolleybus will not work on regular trolleybus lines but for those who like to see this model working everyday and carry passengers from the morning to the evening - welcome to Ternopil. Here you still could look and ride Škoda 9Tr trolleybus on regular lines.

Škoda 9Tr trolleybus was produced from 1961 to 1982 by Czechoslovak company "Skoda-Ostrov" and was one of the most common models of trolleybuses operated in USSR - total of more than 5000 trolleybuses (in Ukraine operated 3058 trolleybuses of Škoda 9Tr model).
