On 3rd of February 2017 allocated two million UAH (around 71 000 US dollars) for reconstruction of Cherkasy Airport beginning with creation of construction and estimate documentation.

After made this decision Cherkasy Regional Council and Cherkasy Airport will continue its work for development and revival of one of the most promising transit airports of Ukraine and it is planned to apply to the government for additional funding.
