On 1st of April 2017 the agreement comes into effect between Government of Ukraine and Council of Ministers of Republic of Albania on mutual abolition of visa requirements.

The agreement for free visa was signed on November 4, 2016 in Tirana, Republic of Albania.

Under the terms of the agreement provides that citizens of Ukraine and citizens of Albania using valid travel documents - passport or seafarer's identity document can enter, leave, transit and stay without a visa in Ukraine and Albania during a period not exceeding 90 days within period of 180 days.
