Zhytomyr Airport received first flight of Yanair airlines

On 29th of January 2015 after complete reconstruction Zhytomyr Airport received the first technical flight of aircraft Saab 340 of Yanair airlines.

According to Zhytomyr Airport director Sergei Budyak - it is official start of the airport that was nonfunctioning during 25 years.

Now Zhytomyr Airport can receive aircrafts AN-24, Saab 340 and other light aircrafts. It is planned to continue the reconstruction of the airport and the expansion of its capacity.

Investor of reconstruction of Zhytomyr Airport is Yanair airline which now created maintenance base for their fleet.
