On 17th - 20th of November 2016 in Uzhgorod will take place Transcarpathian Baujolais Festival - festival of new wine of Transcarpathian region with wine tasting and great entertainment.

During the festival tourists can also taste Transcarpathian courses: bograch, lecho, rokot-kumpli, dumplings with meat goulash, beans with cabbage, tokan, golubtsi stuffed with mushrooms, loci with potato, kremzliki, sausages, steaks, ribs and more.

Points of catering which will be located on streets will not sell alcohol. Alcoholic beverages will be exclusively in wine cellars.

Transcarpathian Baujolais Festival Program

17.11.2016, Thursday
19:00 - The festival starts on the corner of Korzo and Voloshin streets. With the participation of mayor of Uzhgorod will open the first barrel of new wine. This event will take place same time with fire show and knightly combats.

18.11-20.11.2016, Friday-Sunday
11:00-20:00 - Wine cellars working time

Transcarpathian Baujolais Festival Tickets

Adult ticket: 20 UAH (around 1 US dollar)
Admission will be counted in the price of a drink. So tourists can have 20 UAH discount of cost of wine purchase or exchange the ticket for a glass of wine or mulled wine.

Souvenir glass of Transcarpathian Baujolais Festival will be sell at a price 95 UAH (around 4 US dollars). The price includes 1 liter of any wine to tourists taste.
