Tourist Information Center was opened in Ternopil | Around the clock |
On 27th of September 2016 in Ternopil was opened Tourist Information Center - the first tourism information center in Ukraine that works around the clock. Tourist Information Center is located in Ternopil city center so for tourists it is very comfortable to begin Ternopil tour of most interesting sights and attractions there. Also warm atmosphere of coffee and tea, restrooms and most valuable tourist information is waiting for Ternopil tourists on Hrushevskoho str., 2. In the center tourists can get free tourist map of Ternopil. It marked 98 locations which is worth to visit. All sights and attractions divided into groups: "visit", "taste", "see", "hang out", "photographed", "settle", "go", "make" and "learn". The room for Tourist Information Center provided rent-free for 10 years by Ternopil City Council. Tourism is extremely important for Ternopil industry. In April 2016 formed Program of Strategic Development of Ternopil until 2025 in which a whole section dedicated to development of tourism. Today in tourism in Ternopil work 60 tour operators and agencies and 30 hotels. Most importantly Ternopil and the region has more than 350 objects of cultural heritage that we are interesting to show tourists. This year Ternopil was visited by 150 000 of tourists. Now Ternopil City Council promotes accommodation in Ternopil because majority of travelers come just for one day and depart Ternopil same day. Organizers of Tourist Information Center
