On 24th - 28th of August 2016 in Lviv will take place Festival Etnovyr - international festival of folk dance from around the world.

Festival Etnovyr is the main event of celebrations of Independence Day of Ukraine in Lviv. During the festival there are colorful performances of ensembles, spectacular parades on street of Old Town, presentation of national cuisines. In the evenings will be warm atmosphere of friendship and dance workshops.

Folklore groups from many countries including Ukraine, Korea, Indonesia, Peru, China, Romania, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Georgia, Hungary, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark will present the culture of their country at Festival Etnovyr.

The festival will take part under auspices of International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF) UNESCO and International Organization of Folk Art (IOV).
