On 19th of December 2015 - 16th of January 2016 in Kiev will take place celebration of New Year 2016 and Christmas on Mykhailivska and Sophia squares.

On Sophia square around Monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky will be established observation deck with ice slides and on Mykhailivska square around Monument to Princess Olga - skating rink. Organizers plan to place holiday children's railway, observation wheel and ice sculptures.

Main leader of New Year celebrations will be St. Nicholas with his seven assistants. To the right of St. Michael Cathedral will be located St. Nicholas Residence. Here children make their dreams come true and receive Christmas gifts.

Kiev Christmas Tree like last year will set at Sophia square. It will be a living fir-tree with height of 26 meters that come of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

During Christmas and New Year celebrations in Kiev tourists and guests of Ukrainian capital could visit 16 themed gala concerts.
