On 8th of December 2016 in Kiev was opened new Bus Station Teremki - a new bus station for international, intercity, suburban bus routes and taxi that drive from Kiev to south and west of Ukraine.

At Bus Station Teremki there are 20 platforms for arrival/departure of buses with capacity of 9000 passengers a day and 450 scheduled bus journeys.

Inside the station are room for mother and child, hotel for rest of bus drivers, medical center, police post, waiting room designed for simultaneous presence of 400 passengers, cafes and restaurants and shops.

For comfort of passengers from Bus Station Teremki to Subway Station Teremki and back will run free shuttle bass with intervals of 15 minutes. Territory of new bus station is fully adapted for people with disabilities. Also in Bus Station Teremki work bus service station, repair shop and wash station designed for buses of large size.

The new Bus Station Teremki is the first stage of integrated transport interchange hubs around the perimeter of the capital of Ukraine to reduce transit transport on streets of Kiev.

In the future plans to build four more such modern bus stations near subway stations "Chervoniy Khutir", "Lisova", "Akademmistechko" and "Heroiv Dnipra" on expense of private investments.
