On 1st - 2nd of July 2016 in Hlukhiv, Sumy region take place Linen Fest - holiday of Ukrainian traditions, embroidery, fashion, music and eco-trends.

Linen Fest Program includes:
- Master classes in embroidery and doll making from masters of Hlukhiv, Kyiv and Dnipro
- Presentation of popular book "Ancient Ukrainian Patterns for Cross Stitch. Magic Pattern" publishing by "Family Leisure Club", Kharkiv, 2016
- Classical music concert "Music without borders"
- Holiday of flowering flax on blooming flax field on outskirts of Hlukhiv accompanied by Hlukhiv folk ensembles, fair of goodies of flax, herbal teas made in samovar
- Fashion show of clothes made of Hlukhiv flax
- Fair of textiles of linen and folk art items
- Hlukhiv tour for visitors and guests of the festival

In addition to Linen Fest will be held eco-run of electric cars (more than 10 EV) who will go on to Hlukhiv from Kyiv on Friday, July 1 and will refuel on road to Hlukhiv in electric stations recently installed for electric vehicles on highway Kyiv - Hlukhiv.

On 2nd of July 2016 at 14:00 Hlukhiv mayor will open a new electric station for electric vehicles in Hlukhiv city center.

Participation in Linen Fest is free of charge. The dress code to attend the event - embroidery or clothing made of linen.
