After 1st of June 2016 foreign tourists can get Ukraine visa online with new information and telecommunication System Visa.

10 foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine and Operations Division of Department of Consular Service of MFA at Boryspil International Airport (KBP) has carried out registration of Ukrainian visas by means of System Visa.

This innovations aimed to create a transparent and accessible conditions for issuing visas, simplifying visa procedures and ensure effective control over issuance of visas by Ukrainian consuls.

In particular Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, Vietnam, Israel, Malaysia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, USA, France and General Consulate in Shanghai foreign tourists already have the possibility to register visa application online and set a date of submission of documents to diplomatic institution of Ukraine without having expectations in the running line.

By the end of this year will be the introduction of new procedures for obtaining visas in all Ukrainian embassies abroad.

Along with this Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine finalized amendments to Ukraine visa legislation aimed at creating favorable conditions for issuing visas for foreign tourists who plan to visit Ukraine.

Ukraine Visa Fees and Types

Short term visa (C)

Short term visa (C) is issued to foreign citizens and stateless persons if the duration of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days during 180 days period from the date of the first entry. Short-term visas can be single, double or multiple entries for 6 months or for the period of time indicated in the documents that constitute grounds for obtaining the visa but not exceeding 5 years.

Double entry - 132 US dollars
Multiple entry - 202 US dollars

Express procedure (processing of visa applications - 7-10 calendar days)
Single entry - 227 US dollars
Double entry - 263 US dollars
Multiple entry - 405 US dollars

Long term visa (D)

Long term visa (D) is issued to foreign citizens or stateless persons traveling to Ukraine for the purpose of processing documents that give the right to stay or reside in Ukraine. The long-term visa can be issued by Diplomatic Mission or Consulate General of Ukraine as single entry visa for 45 days except as otherwise provided by law.

Express procedure (processing of visa applications - 7-10 calendar days)
Single entry - 777 US dollars

Transit visa (B)

Transit visa (B) is issued to foreign citizens and stateless persons for passing through Ukraine to a third destination as well as for the transportation of cargo or passengers. The short-term visa is valid for a period not exceeding 90 days during 180 days period from the date of first entry. Each transit through the territory of Ukraine should not exceed 5 days. The period should not exceed 1 year unless otherwise provided by International Agreements of Ukraine.
