On 02.07 - 24.08.2016 during 55 days participants of pedestrian tourist and local lore Expedition River of Life will walk 1100 km from north to south across eight regions and 20 cities of Ukraine.

The route of Expedition River of Life starts from the point where Dnipro river crosses the border of Ukraine near village of Kamenka, Repkinsky district of Chernihiv region then through Slavutych, Kiev, Kaniv, Cherkassy, Chigirin, Svitlovodsk, Kremenchug, Kamenka, Dnepr, Zaporizhzhya, Nikopol, Nova Kakhovka, Kherson and other settlements along the Dnieper River to the village Rybalche, Golopristanskiy district, Kherson region where the expedition will end on 24th of August 2016 at Independence Day of Ukraine.

The team of Expedition River of Life - 4 persons including professional journalists and a doctor. In Ukraine they will walk with an overnight stay in tents. Diary of a hike with photos and videos will be published on the expedition Facebook page.

The author and organizer of the expedition - Sergei Serdyuk is a head of public organization "Alexandrians" of Alexandria city, Kirovograd region. According to his idea the action is held to promote tourism in Ukraine, study of native land, find out geographic, ethnographic and historical sites, promotion of healthy lifestyles and development of new tourist routes.

At the end of Expedition River of Life is planned to publish the book-almanac about Ukraine pedestrian tourism promotion.
