On 31st of October 2016 organizers of Eurovision Song Contest 2017 confirmed that 43 countries will participate in the music competition.

The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be organised by European Broadcasting Union and Ukrainian national broadcaster NTU following Jamala’s win with song "1944" in Stockholm, Sweden.

The music contest will take place in Ukraine’s capital city - Kiev which previously hosted the competition in 2005 as well as Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 and 2013. International Exhibition Centre will be venue for the contest and has capacity for up to 11000 spectators.

Eurovision Song Contest 2017 unites audiences like no other show reaching over 200 million people in 2016.
